The five-year-old royal is yet to reach one big milestone in the Firm which his younger cousin Prince Archie achieved when he was just a baby.
Prince Louis is yet to reach a major royal milestone despite his younger cousin Prince Archie already achieving it years ago.
Both of Louis' older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte have also been on royal tours with George accompanying Prince William and Kate Middleton on their trip to Australia and New Zealand when he was just nine months old. On the Prince and Princess of Wales' last royal tour to the Caribbean, they decided to leave the children at home as the trip fell during term time and now that all three of their children are at school it's unlikely they would miss lessons for a long international trip.
Before then, royals traditionally left their kids behind when they went on a tour, even if they were very young or travelling far away. Australian columnist Daniela Elser wrote of the couple: "If the Prince and Princess don’t pull their finger out on the Commonwealth front, then by the time they have matching thrones, the land over which King William V presides will be so reduced he will be able to fly from one end to another in under an hour.
