Prince Harry is set to experience something of a culture shock when he returns to London next month for the first time since his eviction from Frogmore Cottage in June.
With no formal residence in the United Kingdom, the Duke of Sussex will now be forced to request permission to stay at a royal residence or seek alternative accommodation.
The Prince will not be accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle, 42, who will fly straight to Dusseldorf from California a few days later for the Invictus Games. According to WellChild, Harry"will spend time with each winner and their families at a pre-ceremony reception, listening to their stories and helping create lifelong memories."“For nearly 20 years, WellChild has been transforming the lives of children and young people across the UK, providing critical care that prioritises the physical, mental and emotional well-being of these individuals and their families," he said.
Despite relocating to California in 2020 with Meghan, Harry has returned to London on a number of occasions in 2023 to attend the coronation and provide testimony in his ongoing privacy lawsuits against Britain’s tabloid newspaper publishers. The last time Harry was in London in June, he stayed at Frogmore for one final time after being.
