Prince Harry reassuring Meghan Markle about her post-baby body is the sweetest thing
Meghan Markle gave birth to baby Archie just five months ago, and considering her strong feminist principles we know she won't be pressuring herself to revert to her pre-baby figure. But an appearance at the WellChild awards last night with husband Prince Harry has revealed that Meghan suffers the same insecurities about her post-pregnancy body as so many other women.
Thankfully, she's got a supportive partner in Prince Harry to reassure her that those insecurities are unfounded. At the ceremony last night, Prince Harry spoke to 10-year-old award winner Emmie Narayn-Nicholas and her mum, Eve. Talking afterwards about their interaction with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Eve told reporters:According to Eve, Prince Harry then looked at Meghan and said,"See I told you!".
What's perhaps most revealing about this nugget of conversation is the refreshing realisation that someone as undeniably beautiful as Meghan Markle can still experience pangs of self doubt in the way everyone else does.Speaking shortly after Meghan gave birth to Archie, royal expert Katie Nicholl revealed Meghan had been taking a gentle approach to exercise, as is generally advisable after having a baby.
