Prince Harry engaged in a lighthearted ' goat yoga' session and was struck by water bombs during a summer festival in Warwickshire. This event, organized by the charity Scotty's Little Soldiers which supports bereaved military children, took place at Maxstoke Castle.
It followed a private family reunion the previous evening with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove. During the yoga, Harry interacted with goats, initially questioning safety and asking if they bite. He performed poses like the tree pose while mimicking goat ears, and even allowed the animals to walk over him, with one stepping on his crotch causing him to wince. Afterward, he joined an inflatable obstacle course where children peltered him with water balloons.
The Duke, who serves as Global Ambassador for the charity, spoke with a nine-year-old attendee about coping with difficult days, noting that his children and dog bring him laughter. This festival marked his first public appearance since losing a £50 million phone hacking lawsuit against the Daily Mail earlier in the week. The High Court ruling was a decisive victory for the newspaper, with the judge praising the credibility of its staff and criticizing Harry's testimony.
Harry and his supporter Doreen Lawrence harshly condemned the judgment as a 'whitewash'. The visit to the UK also included a secret meeting with his father, the King, after weeks of public tension over whether Charles had invited Harry to stay at Buckingham Palace.
