The 71-year-old, who is first in line to the British throne, has 'been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health,' a Clarence House spokesperson said.
The evening before his last meeting with the monarch, Charles attended the Prince's Trust Awards in London where he eschewed handshakes in favor of namaste greetings with celebrities including actor Piers Brosnan.
The day before that meeting, Charles attended the Commonwealth Day service with senior members of the royal family alongside the queen, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who have since returned to Canada.
