RETAIL prices of agriculture products in Metro Manila markets increased from P10 to P40 per kilo amid the onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm 'Paeng', an official said on Thursday.During the Laging Handa briefing, Agriculture Assistant Secretary and Spokesman Kristine Evangelista said the supply of farm products in the markets were also affected by the delay in the delivery caused by damaged roads.

'We are expecting that from P30 to P40 increase in the retail prices, it will decrease by P10 to P20 until we are back to are pre-typhoon prices,' Evangelista said.She supported the statement of farmers' group Samahang Industriya ng Agrikultura President Rosendo So that agriculture supply will normalize within two to three days.
