Preston North End youngster Aaron Bennett has joined National League side Altrincham on a three-month loan deal.
He signed a one-year professional contract in May after impressing Ryan Lowe at the end of last season, he had been training with the first team then and has continued to since.
It is a chance for the young midfielder to get regular, senior game time at a good and competitive level with National League, and newly professional, outfit Alty. They play their first game of the season this weekend against Maidstone United following on from their 14th place finish last season.
