Ohio State bolstered its defense for the 2025 recruiting class this weekend with the commitments of defensive standouts Tarvos Alford and London Merritt.
Amid a massive recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes, OSU landed commitments from two top defensive prospects in the 2025 class in two days.With Merritt and Alford in the fold, OSU now has nine commitments in the 2025 class including eight of the class’ top 101 overall prospects.
Meanwhile, the Buckeyes continued their pursuit of several other top prospects in the class – including the No. 1 ranked offensive tackle in the 2025 class,– by hosting them for Student Appreciation Day visits. While Clemson may be considered the frontrunner nationally in his recruitment, Ohio State has at least a puncher's chance for the standout tackle.
