Ohio State's defensive line looked dominant in Thursday's practice as the Buckeyes' offensive line battled illness while the tight ends also stood out.

With Hero Kanu, Jason Moore, Eddrick Houston and Tywone Malone among some of the standouts, the Buckeyes mixed rotations and saw consistent success invading the backfield for sacks and tackles for loss against an offensive line battling illness.

Ohio State's tight ends also impressed, with Jelani Thurman hauling in two touchdown catches while Will Kacmarek and Gee Scott Jr. also made plays. The media also got a first-hand taste of the practice battles and trash talk that often take place between Jeremiah Smith and Davison Igbinosun. While Will Howard hasn't"won" the starting quarterback job yet per Ryan Day, he saw a majority of first-team reps at the position on Thursday, though Julian Sayin had what were probably the two best throws of the day.Dan Hope and Andy Anders discuss what they saw and heard on Thursday in the latest episode of Press Coverage, which you can view at the top of the page.
