Community leaders in El Paso and Dayton have voiced concern over President Donald Trump's plan to meet with first responders and survivors of the mass shootings.

Several key Democrats have blamed Trump’s rhetoric against migrants from Central and South America for stoking racial hatred, including Representative Maxine Waters, who said the recent mass shootings in the U.S. were “motivated by Trump’s race baiting.” Cory Booker told CNN’sthat Trump was responsible for the shooting, which authorities are treating as domestic terrorism.”
