He was 0-1 as a college head coach in games against Alabama, with his Miami Hurricanes on the wrong end of a 36-0 defeat to Bear Bryant's Tide team inNick Saban, Alabama's actual coach, has led the Crimson Tide to five national championships. Saban split his two meetings against Tuberville-coached Auburn in 2007-08.
