Biden is scheduled to participate in a ceremony at the Anchorage base with military members and their families during a stopover on his return from Vietnam.
President Joe Biden waves before boarding Air Force One at Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport, Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, in Avoca, Pa. Biden will participate in a memorial ceremony at the base with members of the military, first responders and families.
A White House spokesperson did not answer questions about how long Biden will be in Alaska and if he has any other items on his agenda.
