Friday, President Joe Biden approved a major disaster declaration for the State of Texas.
This week’s Insider Deals are so good you’ll want all of themThe declaration addresses the severe thunderstorms, flooding, tornadoes, and straight-line winds that have plagued the area over the past three weeks.“Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster,” a press release from The White House read.
The declaration will enable federal funding for individuals in Harris County, Liberty County, Montgomery County, Polk County, San Jacinto County, Trinity County and Waller County..
