Dothan’s softball team dominated Prattville on the road 11-2 on Tuesday to clinch the Class 7A, Area 3 regular-season title and earn the right to host the area postseason tournament.

For Charles Henderson, Reece Garrett had three hits with one run batted in and Camille Lewis had a two-run single plus an RBI ground out. Calleigh Compton and Janazia Cantlow added a hit and an RBI each. Ana Caldwell had two hits, including a three-run homer, and five runs batted in, while Ayrika Caldwell had three hits. Danielle Tidwell and A’Lyric Whitfield had two hits each and Mary B. O’Neal had a two-run triple.
