Dothan’s softball team dominated Prattville on the road 11-2 on Tuesday to clinch the Class 7A, Area 3 regular-season title and earn the right to host the area postseason tournament.

Rehobeth 16, Carroll 2: Jazzy Andrews belted a grand slam homer and a two-run double to drive in six runs off two hits to lead Rehobeth in the Class 5A, Area 3 win. Dahla Ganz, the winning pitcher, went four innings, striking out four and allowing both hits. Kynlee Holland pitched the last inning, allowing one run and striking out two.Northside Methodist 16, Daleville 2: Anna Griggs struck out 13 and allowed only two hits and one earned run in the pitching circle and drove in three on offense.
For Charles Henderson, Reece Garrett had three hits with one run batted in and Camille Lewis had a two-run single plus an RBI ground out. Calleigh Compton and Janazia Cantlow added a hit and an RBI each. Ana Caldwell had two hits, including a three-run homer, and five runs batted in, while Ayrika Caldwell had three hits. Danielle Tidwell and A’Lyric Whitfield had two hits each and Mary B. O’Neal had a two-run triple.
