The best individual performance at the state championships in football belonged to sophomore quarterback Ryan Rakowski of Palos Verdes. He tied the state record for most touchdowns in a bowl game with six set in 2014 by Folsom quarterback Jake Browning. He led Palos Verdes to the 2-A championship.
