Nevada-bound quarterback Jax Leatherwood won't play again until college
After throwing touchdown passes of eight and 17 yards at Brawley, Leatherwood was sacked and suffered a fracture of the sternoclavicular joint of the right collarbone. The SC joint connects the collarbone to the breastbone or sternum.
Leatherwood also was a first-team All-CIF player in volleyball, and in between the fall and spring seasons he helped lead the Falcons to a. The CIF record for points in a game was 50, set by three players, most recently Mac Bingham of Torrey Pines in 2018.
