Lakeside girls 40, Hooper Academy 38: Two clutch free throws in the last 20 seconds helped the Lakeside School girls basketball team edge Hooper Academy 40-38 Friday night in the first round of the Evangel Christian Tip-Off Tournament in Montgomery. Dylin White hit a go-ahead free-throw with 19 seconds left and Sophie Seaborn sealed it with another free-throw with seven seconds to go for Lakeside. Chloe Helms led Lakeside with 25 points, highlighted by six three-pointers. She also had four rebounds, three assists and four steals.
