Manchester City are looking to extend their 100 per cent start to the Premier League season at Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will be expecting his team to bounce back this weekend when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

City's League Cup disappointment must be brushed off quickly as they visit Molineux to face a Wolves side who have struggled at the beginning of the season. Ahead of the game, MEN Sport has taken a look at what three pundits reckon will happen in the West Midlands later.

"But City look so strong going forward when Julian Alvarez and Haaland play together, and it is going to be hard to keep them quiet. Like Nunes, Jeremy Doku only came on in the second half against Newcastle, so I can see him starting here - which is good news for my Fantasy team - and he will be a real handful too.Paul Merson In his Sportskeeda column, Merson added: "Wolves were outstanding against Liverpool in the first half but got blown away after the interval.

"Man City are making it ridiculously hard for the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool to mount a Premier League title challenge as they hardly drop any points. I know it's so early in the season but if Arsenal lose to Manchester City next weekend, they are out of the Premier League title race. Pedro Neto is starting to produce the end product that once eluded him - some of the biggest teams in world football are going to be queuing up for him next year.
