Eddie Howe says Jacob Murphy has sustained a suspected 'serious' shoulder injury, having been forced off five minutes after he was introduced from the bench during Newcastle United's Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund.Howe also confirmed Alexander Isak suffered a recurrence of the groin injury that forced him to withdraw from the Sweden squad for October's international fixtures after he was withdrawn in the first half at St James' Park.
'Looks like a recurrence of the groin problem, doesn't look serious but it's enough to keep him out and that's a big blow for a player of his quality,' Howe told TNT Sport. 'And then Jacob that looks quite serious, dislocation potentially of his shoulder, so never a good thing to see.'He continued: “I’m absolutely devastated for him but let’s wait and see how bad it is.
