A pregnant woman was shot in San Francisco 's Bayview neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, according to fire officials.Authorities told KTVU the woman called 911 to report she had been shot in the 1100 block of Hollister. The initial call was received around 2:13 p.m.Officials could not provide information on the woman's condition or her unborn child.She was taken to a local hospital. San Francisco police officers searched the area for the suspect, who remains at large.
"I didn't think it was like really close until I heard the cops stop right in front of the house, and then I thought, that's really close," said neighbor Angelina Raygoza.Her partner, AJ Alvarez, said he was shocked to learn it happened so close to where he and his family live."It happened to be four houses down from where we live. So, that's really devastating to hear about that violent act happening so close to home," he said.
