Ahead of the Dallas Mavericks' game against the Miami Heat, players and coaches wore shirts with a message for NBA MVP voters.

Coach Jason Kidd wore the shirt into his pregame interview session.
Wednesday night’s Mavericks-Miami game was aired on ESPN, which the Mavericks hope will help give the campaign some legs. “I wish we had worn these in March,” Kidd said, expressing a concern that is shared by other members of the Mavericks organization who fret that much of the national media already has made up its mind that Denver’s Nikola Jokic will get the MVP award for the third time in the last four seasons.and three of the last seven Player of the Week awards.
