Film fans have been left watching a hidden gem psychological horror film on Amazon Prime 'several times' with many comparing it to Jordan Peele's horror blockbuster, Get Out.
However, her experience with the family is plagued by issues. The mother Amy grows jealous of the bond Aisha formers with her child and underpays her, leading to growing tensions. Meanwhile the father Adam appears to be leading a secret life away from his wife and child. If its Rotten Tomatoes rating is to be believed, it is a must-watch on the platform. It currently enjoys a 90 per cent rating, and to boot, it has 11 awards under its belt too. The film has accrued accolades including the Sundance Film Festival's coveted Grand Jury Prize in the Dramatic category and was voted Best Independent Film by the African-American Film Critics Association in 2023.
