Nottinghamshire Police found fingerprints on a window at one address and blood at the scene of the other address
Hundreds of pounds worth of power tools and an electric golf trolley have been stolen from two garages. On August 28, Christos Iona, stole the items after he forced his way into two garages on Thoresby Close and Balmoral Drive in Bramcote.
Iona had also breached a community order and was jailed for a total of 12 months. Meanwhile, in a separate case a man has been arrested after an attempted break-in at a home in Beeston earlier this week.Officers were called to Anderson Crescent at around 6:30pm on Tuesday, September 19, after being informed that a man had tried to gain access to a property through a window. A member of the public called 999 after spotting a man behaving suspiciously on her doorbell camera.
The man attempted to run away from the scene, but he was detained by officers. A 40 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary with intent to steal, and inquiries remain ongoing.
