Power Rangers: Once and Always pays special tribute to late stars Jason David Frank and Thuy Trang
As a way to honour both Trang and Trini, the special sees Trini's daughter Minh take on the role of Yellow Ranger in order to carry on her mother's legacy.
In the last moments of the special, Frank is remembered with a clip from season two of the original show, in which Tommy comes to terms with losing his Green Ranger powers while Kimberly and Zack serenade him with a song named 'Down the Road'. Before the credits roll, photos of both Thuy and Frank appear above the text:"In loving memory of Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank."
