Several companies have received the go-signal to conduct a system impact study on their respective power projects, data from the Department of Energy showed on Thursday.
These firms, which the department has endorsed to the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines, are Solar Philippines Commercial Rooftop Projects Inc. for its Sta. Rosa Nueva Ecija 3 and General Santos solar power projects, each with an installed capacity of 1,200 megawatts , and its 5-MW SM City Tuguegarao Solar Power Project; Solar Philippines Batangas Corp. for its 1,200-MW Padre Garcia Solar Power Project in Batangas province; PowerSource First Bulacan Solar Inc. for its 61.
