Load shedding is back after one day off, continuing at stage 2 and stage 3 in rotation until further notice.
Minister in the Presidency responsible for Electricity, Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, is currently touring all of Eskom’s power stations, assessing the state of affairs.Speaking at the Kusile power station in Mpumalanga during his visit on Tuesday, Ramokgopa said his ultimate aim is to end load shedding. Ramokgopa started the visits on Monday at the Kriel and Duvha power stations and on Tuesday visited Kusile and Kendal power stations.
“I am confident that we are going to resolve the electricity problem. We will be honest and transparent about where we are now in as far as resolving the problem.
