The crash happened at the intersection of Edgemoor Street and Midland Road around 9 a.m. Saturday, according to San Diego County deputies.
POWAY, Calif. — The San Diego County Sheriff's Department says a 69-year-old Poway woman died after a truck hit her while she was walking her dog Saturday morning.
At the same time the truck turned, the pedestrian was walking in the marked crosswalk, and the truck hit her, the release states.
