Rainfall totals can come close to this factoring in the storm this weekend and additional waves of moisture expected to move onshore early next week. Farther south, Medford, Oregon, tends to pick up about 1.
Pier 39 Marina in San Francisco, California, has a record number of special visitors this year. Around 1,000 sea lions, the largest gathering in 15 years, are delighting sightseers to the area with their playful antics.
