SANDAKAN: Sabah DAP Chairman Datuk Frankie Poon urged Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) to reconsider its decision to increase housing assessments from next year.

He said property owners were deeply concerned, especially considering the existing challenges with the town’s infrastructure and essential services.“One major concern raised is that essential municipal services such as garbage collection, sewage systems, streetlights and more have largely been left unaddressed, leading to frustration among the community,” he said in a statement, Saturday.
