The agency is asking for clarity on aspects of the Pennsylvania injunction that could inadvertently adversely affect the USPS’s on-time performance—for instance, striking down a guideline that required mail trucks leave on time, which could “create the impression that local offices must always permit late and extra trips without any limitation which unquestionably would negatively impact service.”
The USPS has also objected to other aspects of the various court orders against it in previous court filings, including reinstalling all removed sorting machines—as many have already been dismantled and stripped for parts—and unilaterally approving
