A man was arrested Tuesday on the Bush Turnpike after striking a car and pointing a firearm toward the driver in a road-rage incident, authorities said.
About 3 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to a report of a man with a gun on the eastbound lanes of the Bush Turnpike near Preston Road in Far North Dallas. According to DPS, the driver of a 2018 Hyundai Elantra was “road raging” when he struck a 2008 Hyundai Sonata.Both motorists pulled over, and the driver of the Elantra, who authorities identified as Cristiano Pinheiro De Abreu, pointed a gun toward the driver of the Sonata.
