Post Malone , born Austin Richard Post, gifted a struggling single mother $20,000 on Christmas Eve. The mother, 36-year-old Renee Brown, spoke exclusively to, telling the outlet that she was left speechless and in tears after receiving the gift from Post.
The outlet reported that Brown, who has no living relatives and works two jobs just to make ends meet, was working a late shift at The Railyard, a small neighborhood bar frequented by Houston locals. She told the outlet that she had been struggling with the reality of having to leave her nine-year-old daughter Iliana for the holiday when Post, a native of Grapevine, Texas, unexpectedly turned up at the establishment, accompanied by 'Let It Burn' singer, Shaboozey. “Going into work Christmas Eve, I was so sad I had to leave my baby girl to go to work.
