The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. The Post Doctoral Associate will study the role of reactive oxygen and reactive nitrosative species in cell and mouse models of prostate cancer.

The individual hired must be able to function independently, to design and perform routine and complex laboratory experiments, to present results at scientific meetings, and to prepare manuscripts for publication in refereed journals.Demonstrate familiarity with the areas of research being pursued in the Rai lab and ability to think creatively in these areas. Carry out experimental protocols with appropriate technical rigor and accuracy, interpret experimental data, carry out required statistical analysis, and maintain accurate records Assist in the preparation of data and figures for publication in refereed journals and grant applicationsPh.D. or other doctoral degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular genetics, cell biology, cancer biology or a related life science field with a strong publication record.
