The Seahawks have pared their roster down to 53, but we know they’re far from done.

The Seattle Seahawks have their initial 53-man roster after finalizing their cuts on Tuesday. Next up is forming a practice squad, followed by the inevitable tinkering of the active roster heading into Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. What you see right now might not hold up by Friday, so don’t totally fret over who is and who isn’t on the team until we have a firm idea of what will happen entering the first game week practice.

I do believe he’ll be stashed on the practice squad. I’d rather he be on the PS than Laumea and Jerrell, who did well in their third-team reps and provide more guard and tackle depth, respectively. Defensive Line: Byron Murphy II, Leonard Williams, Jarran Reed, Jonathan Hankins, Myles Adams, Mike Morris You could’ve etched this group in stone before the preseason opener. A full offseason of Big Cat plus the arrival of Murphy has me bullish about what the defensive line can do.
