Terry Devlin scored the winner in a 3-2 comeback victory over Reading on Saturday
Portsmouth boss John Mousinho has hailed the maturity of rising star Terry Devlin following the teenager's match-winning performance on Saturday.
The Northern Ireland Under 21 international had been patiently waiting for his first start for the League One side, who sit five points clear at the top.Mourinho told The News: "One of the things I was frustrated about on Tuesday night was I didn’t think we stretched the game well enough – and one of Terry's best attributes is how he stretches the game and runs in behind.
"It wasn’t a risk selecting him. From the work he puts in day in, day out, we know we can rely on him. "Days after Derby, he came on against Barnsley at a difficult moment when we needed him and played out of position, he did it again the following weekend .
