Portrayals of music legends JudyGarland and eltonofficial received GoldenGlobes nominations
and Michelle Williams are vying for actor and actress in a TV movie or limited series. In September, Williams won a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance in the series about the notoriously demanding choreographer-director and the dancer/actress.
Netflix is the top motion picture distributor, with 17 Globe nominations, followed by Sony Pictures Releasing , and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures,with six each. Netflix's 17 nominations also makes them the top television network, followed by HBO , and hulu and Prime Video, with five each.
The 77th annual Golden Globe Awards will be presented on Jan. 5 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
