At least 3 people were arrested in Portland, Oregon, according to police, as left-wing anti-fascist demonstrators gathered to counterprotest a rally by far-right and extremist groups. It was unclear which groups the arrested persons were affiliated with.
Thirteen people were detained for a variety of charges including disorderly conduct, interfering with police, unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a weapon on the park, Police Chief Danielle Outlaw said.Police seized several weapons, including knives, metal and wood poles, chemical spray, and a stun gun, Outlaw said.It was unclear which groups those arrested were affiliated with.
