Porsche Sonderwunch Builds Special 911 GT3 To Celebrate Supercup Series' 30th Anniversary | Carscoops carscoops
The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup series has been racing and supporting European Formula 1 events for 30 years now, and the automaker behind the one-make series decided that was worth celebrating.new Sonderwunsch program to create a unique 911 celebrating the series’ milestone. The result is this special 911 GT3, the roadgoing version of the car that races in the Supercup.

The build took several weeks to complete and involved taking the vehicle apart completely before rebuilding it with a special design. Painted, rather than wrapped, in this special livery, the car features eight different paint colors: GT Silver Metallic, Agate Grey Metallic, high-gloss Black, Meteorgreymetallic, Parliamentgreymetallic, Volcanogreymetallic, Grigiogranitometallic and Diamondblackmetallic.
“Working with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur on this Factory Re-Commissioning was a great experience. And the– 30 Years of Porsche Supercup is a worthy ambassador in our anniversary year,” said Oliver Schwab, project manager of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. “We say ‘Happy Birthday’ and look forward to many more years of racing on the most famous racetracks in the world.”
