Chili crisp 🤝 tahini = the dynamic duo behind this savory, spicy sauce.
The sauce was flavorful, however I think the proportion of noodles to the pork was off. I weighed the noodles, so I know I was using the correct amount. Either use less noodles, or use more pork and more sauce. I would make this again, however with modificationsI saw this recipe and it looked good. I have never used Tahini so I looked it up and read that it can be bitter. When I made the sauce I put small amounts in slowly and tasted it. I got a little too much in and it was bitter.
I also cooked onion in with spicy sausage. It was delicious! It makes a huge pan way more than 4 servings so you will have lots of leftovers! There aren’t enough stars for this recipe!! We don’t eat the pig so I made it with chicken. So good, so easy and it was ready in minutes, truly a week night meal. As we enjoyed the meal we thought of the many possibilities; you could use any noodles, crispy tofu, frozen peas, mushrooms… if you had more time you could go wild with this recipe.
