The restaurant at 75 Main Street is the third opened by restaurateur Mohammad Mohidat. Mohidat also operates Mr. Waffles locations in Paterson and Passaic.
Mr. Waffles hosted a grand opened at 75 Main St. in Hackensack on Feb. 9. At the Bergen County location, Mr. Waffles will serve both sweet and savory fare.The opening event “drew a great crowd and showcased the strong community support for new local businesses,” according to the Downtown Hackensack Main Street Business Alliance.
Mr. Waffles is known for its extensive menu of waffles, crepes, shakes and smoothies. The Hackensack spot at 75 Main Street distinguishes itself from its Passaic County counterparts by offering both sweet and savory menu items. At the Hackensack restaurant, Mohidat partnered with Heights Burger in Hasbrouck Heights to serve smash burgers, chicken and sides. Mohidat emphasized the restaurant’s commitment to quality ingredients.
