NASHVILLE, Tennessee -- Famous country-rock band The Cadillac Three are going on hiatus as front man Jaren Johnston seeks treatment for mental health issues.
The band, known for their top 40 Billboard Country Airplay song “The South,” shared news of the cancellation“Friends — We want to be honest with you,” the Nashville-based band said in a post Sept. 20. “Jaren has entered treatment for his mental health & well-being.”The last few years have been challenging on a number of levels for Johnston, whose father died in 2022 from COVID-19 pneumonia after spending nearly two weeks hospitalized with the virus, according to a post on Instagram.
