The market town is the only town in the Peak District and is enshrouded with delightful countryside
One of the festive season's highlights is undoubtedly the charm and variety offered at Christmas markets, where walking through bustling aisles filled with eager shoppers provides an experience not found in the usual last-minute rush at shopping centres.
The festivities will unfold this weekend . Expectations are high for "delicious food", a wide array of entertainment, and around 100 stalls. Around 100 stalls are set to be scattered across the town centre which, alongside a local brass and silver band, a choir and a DJ, is set to bring an immersive festive experience to families and locals in the town. As well as your classic food and drink stalls, including mulled wine and cider, bratwurst sausages, minced pies and burgers, a range of activities are set to keep the little ones occupied as well.
