After seven years in business, the iconic burger chain is shutting up shop, officially closing its two last remaining stores in Penrith and Botany on Sunday.
A burger chain that gained cult status amongst Sydneysiders has closed its doors for the last time, saying financial stress from "the toughest four years" for the hospitality industry has brought it to an end.and Botany on Sunday after seven years in business, including in Casula and Blacktown, as well as three food trucks.
The trio explained the burger chain boomed coming out the COVID pandemic, which led the chain to open two stores in Casula and Blacktown within a matter of months, on top of their production kitchen in Wetherill Park.Burger Head to close its remaining stores in Botany and Penrith on Sunday. "In hindsight, if we'd only done one of these stores and kept our existing prep kitchen we would've had the resources to really execute store #3 and would still be in business," Burger Head wrote.
