The latest food alert shared by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) warned customers that the product may potentially contain metal.
Aldi shoppers are being warned over a popular bakery item that is "unsafe" for consumption and should be returned to stores.
Food alerts are generally posted to the FSA if a product poses a risk to consumers. In this instance, the tortilla wraps were found to potentially contain the presence of metal after they "may have been tampered with". As the possible presence of metal makes the tortilla wraps unsafe to eat, customers are being urged to return them to their nearest Aldi store. A full refund will be provided even without a receipt.
A statement from Aldi posted to the FSA website read: "We apologise that this product did not meet our normal high standards and thank you for your co-operation.
