The chicken restaurant has announced its launch date
The American fried chicken restaurant will open the doors of its Lord Street branch on November 26 at 11am. On the launch day, the restaurant will be rolling out an orange carpet, distributing limited-edition merchandise and hosting a live Mardi Gras-style band, the Brass Funkeys.
The first three customers through the door on the launch day will win free chicken sandwiches for a whole year. The first 50 customers will also receive a free chicken sandwich and official Popeyes UK merchandise. The restaurant has advised fans to get to the store early as it is anticipating that queues will form as people look to get their first taste of the new store's menu.
Tom Crowley, CEO of Popeyes, said: "We're excited to be kicking off our North West expansion in the heart of Liverpool - it is a thriving and great city. We had fans travel down from Liverpool to our Stratford opening, so we know Liverpool fans will be excited to get their hands on a Popeyes chicken sandwich."
Popeyes Liverpool is located on 59-61 Lord Street and will seat up to 116 people. For more information about the restaurant launch, visit the Popeyes website.
