The famous US fried chicken brand is finally landing on these shores and food fans have found out when the new restaurant at Barrhead is due to open to the public.
The Louisiana Fried Chicken specialists confirmed their much anticipated new restaurant and drive-thru at Barrhead will open to the public on Monday, September 18, with the first in the queue on opening day winning free Chicken Sandwiches for a year.
Earlier this week customers queued for 16 hours ahead of the Cardiff Bay Drive Thru and the new Barrhead restaurant is expected to be equally popular, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to be in with a chance of winning exclusive prizes.The Popeyes team say they are set to pull out all the stops to showcase their Southern hospitality as it brings a taste of Louisiana to Barrhead.
Additionally, the first 25 vehicles through the drive-thru and the first 25 pedestrians in the dine in queue will also be rewarded with a free Chicken Sandwich and exclusive drive-thru merch.
