Pope Francis has re-appeared publicly despite visibly battling health concerns which have disrupted his usually jam packed Holy Week of Easter celebrations.

The 86-year-old was forced to skip Good Friday’s night time “Way of the Cross” procession at Rome’s Colosseum after being hospitalised for three days last week.
