An Elgin letter to the editor: Marc Munroe Dion made an interesting analogy of President Biden's and President Trump's handling of top secret documents but omitted a key comparison.
Marc Munroe Dion made an interesting analogy of President Biden's and President Trump's handling of top secret documents but omitted a key comparison.
He likened Biden's handling with a citizen pulled over by the police for a broken taillight who promises to have it promptly repaired and receives only a warning ticket. In Trump's case, for the same offense, he postulates the citizen fleeing the police officer, resulting in a high-speed chase followed by a humiliating public arrest.
What Mr. Dion fails to include in his Biden example is that the police officer knows but ignores the fact that Biden is driving a stolen car, since Biden had no authority for holding having secret documents during his tenure in the Senate, let alone stored in his unsecured garage. Of course, that detail doesn't fit his liberal narrative.
