Former Secretary of State MikePompeo endorsed former President Donald Trump's White House physician RonnyJacksonTX for reelection to Congress.
Ronny Jackson, the physician to the president from 2013 to 2018, earned the former secretary's endorsement Tuesday as he runs for his second term as a representative from Texas's 13th Congressional District.
"I’m proud to endorse Congressman Ronny Jackson, who is a fierce defender of our conservative values," Pompeo said in a statement."He is a true patriot dedicated to our shared mission of building a strong military, securing our borders, and defeating the radical Left’s socialist agenda. Ronny has what it takes to help Republicans win back the House in November, champion American values, and get our country back on track.
“They are determined to remake our country in their socialist image, but I will not allow it," Jackson said."From the battlefield in Iraq to the White House, and now in Congress, I have always been motivated to fight for American greatness so that future generations can experience it as we have." While serving as a personal doctor to Trump, Jackson frequently attested to his health and mental acumen. He called for President Joe Biden to take a mental test to prove that he was capable of the office after being elected to the House of Representatives.Pompeo has been vocal in endorsing candidates for the 2022 midterm elections. He is supporting Herschel Walker for Senate in Georgia and David McCormick for Senate in Pennsylvania.
