The Department of Environmental Protection has received the following Public Notice of Pollution for a reportable release.
Cowan Systems, LLC called in to request assistance with a 70-gallon spill of diesel caused by impact from road debris that has impacted the asphalt and soil of I-295 N in Jacksonville.
The caller advised that the driver’s fuel tank was full at the time of the incident so the spill could be up to 100 gallons of diesel, however, there is no estimate for how much has been released so far.
